About the course
The course is designed for those who want to move routine operations into the software: preparing source documents, journal entries, and generating the balance sheet and reports. Participants work in 1C:Accounting from the very first class.
Course program
- Getting started: software features, installation and launch, entering initial data.
- Setting up accounting: reference books, constants, chart of accounts.
- Recording business transactions: accounting principles, recording methods, manual entry of transactions, entering documents, standard transactions.
- Journal entries: compound and adjusting entries, document journals.
- Business performance analysis: principles of calculating totals in 1C:Accounting, calculating totals.
- Reports: reporting period, level of detail and report settings.
The program is based on the chart of accounts approved by the Russian Ministry of Finance. An organization decides for itself which accounts to use and sets them out in its accounting policy. Custom sub-accounts can be added if needed.

- keep an organization's accounting records in the software;
- automate daily bank and cash operations;
- generate monthly, quarterly and annual reports;
- generate and print accounting documents;
- independently handle an accounting area at the level required by a chief accountant.
Course logistics
Course title: Configuring and Working in 1C:Accounting.
Duration: 20 academic hours (2 weeks).
Schedule: 3 days a week, 4 academic hours per day.
Class times:
- morning groups: 9:00 to 12:00;
- afternoon groups: 12:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 18:00;
- evening groups: 18:30 to 21:30;
- weekend groups: Saturday and Sunday.
Prerequisites: basic accounting knowledge and confident computer skills at user level.
Certificate: HSE IPAA certificate of completion for the 1C:Accounting course.
