Source documents and reconciliations
Document recognition, checking details, matching statements, reconciliation statements.
A practical course: generative AI for source documents, reconciliations, spreadsheets and 1C, financial analysis and tax questions — with output verification and data protection
How to hand over accounting routine — source documents, reconciliations, spreadsheets, explanations — to AI while keeping control over the books and data.
Document recognition, checking details, matching statements, reconciliation statements.
Formulas, pivot tables, processing 1C exports, simple macros with AI.
Ratio analysis, explanations, replies to requests — checked against the Tax Code.
Personal data, trade and tax secrets, AI rules for the accounting department.
Practice on accounting tasks rather than a general overview of neural networks.
We work with anonymised invoices, acts, statements and spreadsheets similar to real ones.
The main toolkit is services available in Russia and techniques for working with 1C exports.
Each participant sets up an AI workflow for their own task and leaves with templates and regulations.
The course is designed for practising accountants; no programming is required.
The course is built on typical tasks: source documents, reconciliations, reporting, taxes.
Working with spreadsheets and formulas at user level.
A work example is useful for the final project — classes use anonymised data only.
6 modules: how generative AI works and prompts, source documents and reconciliations, Excel and 1C, reporting and taxes, data security and implementation.

No. You work with AI through the regular interface of the services and spreadsheets. Basic Excel skills are enough.
Mainly Russian services available without restrictions — GigaChat, YandexGPT (Alice) and others — as well as document recognition services. Foreign models are covered separately, with caveats about availability in Russia and the risks of transferring data abroad.
Yes, with exports and data preparation: how to use AI to process 1C reports and exports, find discrepancies and build pivot tables. Configuring or modifying 1C configurations is not covered — that is a job for a 1C developer.
Only after verification. AI may refer to an outdated version of a rule or apply it incorrectly. The course teaches you to use AI for initial research and framing a position, and to check the conclusion against the Tax Code, guidance from the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Tax Service, and a legal reference system.
32 academic hours, about 5 weeks with 2 sessions a week. Training is online and in person according to the schedule; corporate groups can be arranged on agreed dates.
After defending the final project, participants receive an HSE IPAA certificate of completion.

Much of an accountant's work is repetitive: processing source documents, reconciling with counterparties and the bank, moving data between spreadsheets, preparing explanations and letters. Generative AI helps speed up exactly this routine: recognising and structuring documents, writing a formula or macro, finding discrepancies, drafting notes to the financial statements. But AI does not know your company's accounting policy and can get a calculation or a rule wrong. That is why the course teaches you to work with AI so that every result can be verified and responsibility for the accounts stays with the accountant.
The main tools are Russian services available without restrictions — GigaChat, YandexGPT (Alice) and other models — as well as document recognition services, including those in the 1C ecosystem. Foreign models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others) are discussed separately: their capabilities, access restrictions in Russia and the risks of transferring financial and personal data abroad.
Participants learn to use AI to extract details and amounts from invoices, acts and delivery notes, check the mandatory details of a source document under Federal Law 402-FZ on Accounting, match bank statements against accounting data, prepare reconciliation statements and investigate discrepancies. We also cover how to organise sample checks so that recognition errors do not end up in the books.
AI is a handy spreadsheet assistant: it suggests formulas, explains other people's files, helps build pivot tables, clean and merge exports and write a simple macro. We cover working with 1C exports: how to prepare data for analysis and what can and cannot be done with the database without a 1C developer. All techniques are practised on training files.
In the workshop, AI helps calculate and comment on financial ratios, prepare explanations for management, and draft replies to tax authority requests or letters to counterparties. Tax questions are a separate topic: AI is useful for initial research and framing a position, but the conclusion must always be checked against the Tax Code, letters of the Ministry of Finance and the Federal Tax Service, and a legal reference system.
Accountants handle employees' personal data, trade secrets and tax information. We cover what must not be sent to external AI services, how to anonymise data, when a corporate service is needed and how to set out AI rules in the accounting department's internal regulations.
The course is 32 academic hours: instructor-led sessions, workshops on training data and a final project — an AI workflow for a task from your own work. Training is available online and in person; groups are formed according to the schedule, and corporate groups are possible for companies. After the final project, participants receive an HSE IPAA certificate. To enrol, submit a request on the website or contact us via the Contacts page.
